How to See Your Nametag

Once Third Person Nametags Mod is installed, your nametag will display automatically whenever you switch to third-person view. There is no configuration file to edit or settings menu to navigate.

Switching to Third-Person View

Press F5 (default keybind) to toggle between first-person and third-person perspectives. Your nametag will appear above your player model when in third-person mode, showing your username exactly as other players see it on the server or in multiplayer worlds.

The nametag disappears when you return to first-person view. This behavior is intentional—it prevents visual clutter while you're playing normally.

What You'll See

Your nametag renders at the same position and with the same styling as nametags on other players. It respects name visibility settings and will only display when your character model is visible on screen. If you're looking away from your character or it's obscured, the nametag won't render either.
