How to Check Your Temperature and Wetness with Thermoo Commands

Thermoo is a library mod, so it doesn't add its own HUD, but it does ship a set of commands you can use to inspect and manipulate temperature values on any entity. This is the fastest way to verify that a temperature-adding mod is actually working.

Reading values

Open chat and type /thermoo temperature (or use tab-completion after typing /thermoo to see the exact subcommands available in your version). You can target yourself, another player, or a mob. The command reports the entity's current temperature in the mod's unit-agnostic format, along with the maximum and minimum bounds it can reach. A separate subcommand reports wetness/soaking, which is tracked independently from temperature.

Testing changes

Use the set and add subcommands to push a value onto a target — for example, raise your own temperature to see whether a freezing effect triggers, or soak a mob to test wetness-related behavior. Because Thermoo stores temperature as a record with configurable bounds, values outside the normal range are clamped rather than causing errors.

If a command reports that no temperature component exists on the entity, that entity type simply isn't tracked yet — temperature is applied per-entity by the mods that depend on Thermoo, not globally.
