Understand the Purpose and Context of the Library

What This Space Represents

The Uncensored Library is a virtual archive of journalism that may be censored, blocked, or suppressed in certain real-world locations. By existing in Minecraft, it creates a safe, accessible space where these stories can be read and shared globally.

How the Content Works

Each book contains actual articles written by real journalists. The pieces cover critical news, investigations, and reporting from countries where press freedom is limited. The library preserves these voices and makes them available to anyone who can access Minecraft.

Engaging Responsibly

As you read, consider the significance of each story. These aren't fictional narratives—they represent real reporting and real risks taken by journalists. The library's existence acknowledges that information access is a human right.

Sharing and Discussion

You can invite others to explore the library with you. The map serves as both an educational tool and a statement about the importance of free press and open information.
