Defeating Skinwalkers yields rare crafting materials: monster eyes, bones, flesh, Netherite Scrap, and enchanted iron axes (if the skinwalkerIronAxeDrop gamerule is enabled). These drops are essential for brewing the Potion of the Skinwalker Hunt.

Efficient Farming Strategy

Locate spawn areas. Skinwalkers spawn across any Overworld biome but are more common in darker regions. Scout caves and forest biomes at night to find transformed specimens.

Prepare a kill chamber. Build a controlled arena with:

• High walls to prevent escape
• Adequate lighting to keep you visible and alert
• Escape routes in case you need to retreat
• Storage chests nearby for quick loot collection

Harvesting and Brewing

Collect dropped materials and store them safely. Once you've gathered sufficient monster parts, use them to brew the Potion of the Skinwalker Hunt, which grants Night Vision, Regeneration III, and Strength III—powerful buffs for extended exploration and combat.
