Deal with Overlord Minions During Combat

Types of Minions

The Overlord summons three unique minion types: Magma Imps, Warmm, and Twinkler wolves. Each has different attack patterns and AI behaviors. Magma Imps are quick and aggressive, Warmm poses different threats, and Twinkler wolves bite and chase relentlessly.

Managing the Horde

Don't ignore minions—they deal significant damage and can overwhelm you if left unchecked. Prioritize eliminating weaker minions first, or focus on high-threat targets depending on your build. Use area-of-effect attacks to damage multiple minions at once.

Custom AI Behaviors

Minions use advanced AI including fleeing, bomb-throwing, and turret-mode transformations. Some may retreat when damaged, while others switch to ranged attacks. Adapt by predicting their next move—if a minion enters turret mode, take cover or rush it down before it deals sustained damage. Coordinate with teammates to split minion aggression and prevent being surrounded.
