Find and Examine Updated Blocks

The Original Work Resource Pack transforms blocks added after the 1.14 update to match the classic style. Seek out these newer additions in your world to see the retro makeover:

• Copper blocks and variants — mine copper ore and smelt it to see the classic pixel art applied
• Raw ore blocks — collect raw copper, iron, or gold to view the restyled textures
• Deepslate variants — dig deep to find deepslate blocks, now painted in the old style
• Amethyst geodes — explore caves to spot amethyst clusters with retro textures
• Sculk blocks — venture into the Deep Dark to see ancient blocks reimagined

Compare Old and New Visuals

To fully appreciate the pack's work, temporarily disable it and compare:

1. Go to Resource Packs in Options

2. Move the Original Work pack back to Available

3. Reload your world to see modern textures

4. Re-enable the pack and reload again

This side-by-side comparison shows how the pack maintains visual consistency across all eras of Minecraft content.
