Obsidian Boat

Obsidian Boat

The Obsidian Boat is the single item added by this mod. It is a craftable vehicle that functions like a normal boat, but instead of floating on water it lets players travel across lava.

Place it on a lava surface and board it the same way you would board an ordinary boat. While riding, you can move across the lava rather than sinking or burning, making it a way to cross lava lakes and other molten areas.

Because the mod only adds this one item, there are no other blocks, tools, or mechanics to learn. Crafting it requires obsidian, consistent with its name, though the exact recipe is not specified here.

Use it as a transport option in the Nether or anywhere lava blocks your path. Treat it as a boat for lava: same controls, same boarding, different liquid.
