Navigate the Maze Without Getting Lost

Mark Your Path

The maze is designed to be confusing, so create a system to track where you've been. Use blocks you can easily spot—like torches, wool, or dirt—to mark corridors you've already explored. Place markers on one side of the wall (always left or always right) so you can follow a consistent pattern.

Use the Right-Hand Rule

Keep your hand on one wall and follow it continuously. If you always keep your right hand touching the wall on your right side, you'll eventually reach either the exit or a dead end. When you hit a dead end, backtrack to your last marker and try a different passage.

Stay Oriented

Note landmarks as you move—tall structures, unique wall patterns, or distinctive terrain features. This helps you recognize if you're going in circles. If you see the same landmark twice, you know you've been there before and should try a different route.

Take Your Time

Don't rush through corridors. Walk slowly and deliberately so you don't accidentally miss the exit or important turns. The maze rewards patience and careful observation over speed.
