Sound Awareness is Key

Clickers hunt by detecting sound, making stealth your primary survival tool. Avoid running, jumping, and combat noise when possible—move carefully through forests and abandoned structures where they spawn naturally.

When a Clicker spots you, melee combat becomes necessary. Craft shivs, lead pipes, or reinforced pipes from gathered materials like blades and bindings. Stock medkits beforehand to heal during fights.

Clicker spawners create dangerous hotspots in specific locations. Identify these areas early and either avoid them or prepare thoroughly with weapons and healing supplies. Defeating Clickers yields crafting fragments you'll need for better gear, so planned encounters can be worthwhile. Watch for the massive Bloater boss—it represents the mod's toughest threat and requires your best equipment and strategy.
