Locate the Warden

The Warden spawns in deep underground cave systems, typically at lower Y-levels. Explore extensive cave networks with multiple chambers and tunnels. The Warden is blind but highly sensitive to vibrations and sound—it will hunt you aggressively once alerted.

Prepare for the Encounter

Bring heavy armor and a strong weapon. The Warden deals substantial damage and has full combat animations. Pack healing items and consider bringing blocks for emergency cover. Bring a ranged weapon as backup, though melee combat is often necessary.

Combat Strategy

The Warden's signature attack is the sonic boom—a devastating ranged blast that damages and disorients you. When you see the Warden rear back and charge, move perpendicular to its facing direction to avoid the blast cone. Stay aggressive with your weapon to prevent it from using sonic boom repeatedly.

Stealth Approach

If you want to avoid direct combat, move silently through caves and don't trigger vibrations. Crouch-walk and avoid jumping. However, the Warden will eventually detect you if you remain in its territory, so escape routes are essential.
