How to Summon The Ghast Cow

Summoning The Ghast Cow

The Ghast Cow is not found naturally — you have to perform a specific ritual to bring it into the world.

First, build a large Nether portal and use it to lure a Ghast through into the Overworld. The Ghast must be present in the Overworld for the ritual to work.

Next, bring a cow to the Ghast. Before the cow dies, you must rename it to "Ghast" using a name tag. The name matters — an unnamed cow will not trigger the summon.

Once the renamed cow is in position, let the Ghast's projectile hit and kill it. If the cow was correctly named, The Ghast Cow will be summoned at that moment.

The result is a hybrid boss: the body of a cow combined with the tentacles of a Ghast. Be prepared for a fight before you complete the ritual.
