Early Survival Strategy

The Frostpale Frozen World replaces normal terrain with packed and blue ice, making traditional survival impossible. Start by typing /trigger frozTutorial to enable beginner hints.

Your first priority is gathering ice blocks and locating surface stone to craft basic tools. Hunt wild wolves, foxes, or goats for early food and leather supplies—passive mobs like cows and sheep no longer spawn naturally.

Next, find a Lumber Camp or Frost Village. Lumber Camps contain saplings and furnaces, while Frost Villages hold wheat seeds (break grass to find seeds here instead). These structures provide essential resources to establish a foothold.

Once equipped, raid Bandit Forts and the Tomb of Bones for rare gear and late-game loot. The frozen biomes are dangerous but rewarding—adapt your strategies to survive this harsh wasteland.
