Find Hidden Exits in Each Room
Where Exits Hide
Exits in the Backrooms aren't always obvious. They may be concealed behind visual clutter, positioned in unexpected locations, or require you to interact with the environment. Thorough exploration is essential.
Systematic Search Method
1. Check all four walls of every room, including corners and edges.
2. Look at the ceiling and floor. Exits sometimes open upward or downward.
3. Examine unusual textures or colors. Doors may blend into walls or stand out subtly.
4. Test doorways that seem blocked. Some exits require you to push through or jump to reach them.
5. Return to rooms you've cleared. Hidden exits sometimes only become accessible after solving other puzzles or reaching certain checkpoints.
Visual Clues
The yellow room markers guide you, but exits themselves may not be yellow. Look for:
- Doorframes or archways
- Walls that look slightly different in texture
- Gaps or openings at unusual heights
- Areas where the room geometry changes
Take your time in each room. Rushing past a hidden exit means backtracking later.
