Getting Started: The Portal

To enter The Aurorian, players must construct a portal similar in shape to a Nether Portal (minimum 4x5 frame) using Aurorian Portal Frame blocks.

Portal Construction

1. Crafting the Frames: Aurorian Portal Frames are crafted using Aurorian Stone. In many versions, 4 Aurorian Stone in a shapeless recipe yields 4 Portal Frames. Aurorian Stone itself can be found in the overworld or crafted (depending on modpack configuration) using a combination of Stone, Lapis Lazuli, and Clay.
2. Lighting the Portal: The portal is ignited using Aurorian Flint and Steel. This is crafted by combining a standard Flint with Aurorian Coal, which can be found as an ore within the dimension or occasionally in loot chests.
