Test Language-Specific Textures In-Game

Changing Your Game Language

To test that your language-specific textures load correctly, change Minecraft's language setting:

1. Open the main menu

2. Click Options (or Settings)

3. Select Language

4. Choose a language that matches one of your texture folders (e.g., select Japanese if you created ja_jp/ textures)

5. Close the settings menu

Reloading Resources

After changing the language, reload your resource packs to apply the changes:

1. Go to Options → Resource Packs

2. Click the reload button (usually a circular arrow icon)

3. Return to the game world

Verifying the Correct Textures Load

Check that textures have changed to match your language-specific files. The mod caches textures for performance, so the cache automatically clears when you change languages. If textures don't update, try restarting the game or manually reloading resources again.
