Create a Language-Specific Texture Pack
Setting Up Your Resource Pack Structure
To create a resource pack that uses language-specific textures, organize your textures into language folders within your resource pack.
Inside your resource pack's assets/<namespace>/textures/ directory, create subfolders for each language code you want to support. For example:
assets/mymod/textures/zh_cn/for Simplified Chineseassets/mymod/textures/ja_jp/for Japaneseassets/mymod/textures/en_us/for English (US)
Placing Your Textures
Place texture files (PNG images) in the appropriate language folder. The folder structure below the language code should match vanilla Minecraft's texture organization. For example, if you have a custom sign texture:
`
assets/mymod/textures/zh_cn/entity/sign.png
assets/mymod/textures/ja_jp/entity/sign.png
`
When a player uses Minecraft with a specific language selected, the mod will automatically load textures from the matching language folder. If no texture exists for the current language, the mod falls back to textures in the root textures/ directory, so always include a default version as a fallback.
