How to Clear Lines and Maximize Your Score
Understanding Line Clearing
A line is complete when blocks fill an entire horizontal row from left to right with no gaps. When a line fills completely, it disappears and you earn points. Multiple lines cleared at once award bonus points, so plan your moves to set up chain clears.
Strategy for Higher Scores
Focus on keeping the left and right sides of the board open. This gives you flexibility to place pieces and prevents the stack from reaching the top too quickly. Try to create situations where clearing one line triggers multiple lines to clear at once—this is more efficient than clearing single lines.
Managing Difficulty
As you progress through levels, blocks fall faster, making it harder to position pieces carefully. Anticipate where pieces will land and plan several moves ahead. Don't let your stack get too tall—maintain space at the top to give yourself room to maneuver.
Clear lines consistently to keep your board manageable and your score climbing. The longer you survive without the stack reaching the top, the higher your final score will be.
