When you're at the Tetra workbench deciding between materials for a tool part, click the material information button to open the detailed comparison view. This shows you exactly how each material choice affects your tool's final stats.

Read the Impact Breakdown

The panel displays how different material properties—like durability, speed, and damage—change based on your selection. Each attribute is listed with its current value and how the new material will modify it. This lets you see the full picture before you craft.

Use Search to Filter Specific Attributes

If you only care about certain stats (like edge retention or sharpness), type keywords into the search bar to highlight just those attributes. This cuts through the noise when comparing multiple materials.

Check for Synergy Bonuses

Scroll through the material details to spot any special synergy bonuses that trigger when you combine specific parts together. These hidden bonuses can make an otherwise average material choice suddenly worthwhile.
