What Blood Moons Are

Blood Moon events are special nighttime occurrences that make the darkness far more dangerous. During a blood moon, hostile mobs spawn more frequently and behave more aggressively. These events are optional and can be toggled on or off by server admins using /ti toggle_blood_moon.

If blood moons are enabled on your server, they occur naturally at random intervals. You can also force one to start immediately with /ti summon_blood_moon—useful if you want to farm rare drops or challenge yourself.

Preparing and Surviving

When a blood moon begins, retreat to a well-lit base or prepare defensive structures. Stock up on healing potions and equip your best combat gear and accessories before nightfall.

Blood moons are excellent farming opportunities if you're ready for them. Enemies drop more loot during these events, making them ideal for grinding materials and rare item drops. However, they're dangerous for unprepared players. If you're still in early progression, stay indoors or near your spawn point until the event ends at dawn.
