Customize Villager Appearance by Biome
Understanding Biome-Specific Designs
Terran Villagers automatically applies different outfits and skin tones based on the biome where villagers spawn or live. Desert villagers look different from swamp villagers, and Nether villagers have their own unique aesthetic. This happens without any configuration needed on your part.
Seeing the Differences
To experience the full range of biome designs:
1. Travel to different biomes in your world—Plains, Desert, Swamp, Nether, Mushroom Forest, Mangrove, and others
2. Locate or breed villagers in each biome to see how their appearance changes
3. Notice how clothing, skin tones, and hairstyles adapt to match the environment
4. Baby villagers inherit the same biome-specific styling as adults
Checking Compatibility
If you're using mods that add custom biomes (like Old Woods, Weeping Witch Forest, or Skyris Vale), the resource pack includes special designs for these too. Villagers spawning in modded biomes will receive appropriate themed outfits automatically.
No manual configuration is required—the pack handles biome detection on its own.
