TerraBlender: How It Makes Biome Mods Work Together

What TerraBlender Does

TerraBlender is a background library for Minecraft that lets multiple biome mods share the same world. Instead of competing for space, it divides the world into biome regions so each mod's custom lands can appear side by side with the base game and with each other.

Blending With Natural Terrain

Custom biomes are blended into natural terrain shapes like mountains, rivers, and oceans rather than overwriting them. This applies across the Overworld, the Nether, and the End, so new lands fit the existing landscape.

Surface Rules

TerraBlender also manages custom ground blocks through surface rules, making sure each environment looks correct on top. This is why a modded biome's floor and terrain match its intended style.

What It Adds

TerraBlender adds no items or mobs on its own. It only works in the background when your favorite biome mods require it, so you will not see it directly in game.
