Adjusting Boss Monster Spawn Rates

Accessing Configuration Settings

Server owners and single-player administrators can customize how often unique boss monsters appear in their world. Open the mod's settings menu to access spawn rate controls.

Modifying Spawn Frequency

The settings menu allows you to increase or decrease how frequently giant monsters spawn. Higher spawn rates mean more dangerous encounters but also more opportunities to find rare creatures. Lower rates create a more relaxed survival experience.

Blocking Specific Creatures

You can prevent certain monster types from spawning as unique boss variants. This is useful if particular creatures are too difficult or if you want to focus encounters on specific types.

World and Dimension Restrictions

The mod supports blocking unique monsters from spawning in specific worlds or dimensions. This allows you to designate safe zones or preserve certain areas from enhanced difficulty.

Applying Changes

After adjusting settings, save your configuration. Changes typically take effect immediately for newly loaded chunks, though some settings may require a world restart for full implementation.
