Temple of the Art Wand Mechanics
Wands are the primary tools of combat in TOTA. Each wand has a set of stats that determine how it handles the spells slotted into it. Understanding these stats is crucial for building an effective arsenal.
Wand Statistics
| Stat | Description |
|---|---|
| Shuffle | If 'Yes', the wand casts spells in a random order. If 'No', it casts them sequentially. |
| Spells/Cast | The number of spells fired simultaneously per click. |
| Cast Delay | The time between individual spell casts. |
| Recharge Time | The time the wand takes to reset after all spells in the sequence have been cast. |
| Mana Max | The total amount of mana the wand can hold. |
| Mana Charge Speed | How quickly the wand recovers mana over time. |
| Capacity | The number of spell slots available in the wand. |
Spell Casting Logic
Wands process spells from left to right. If a Multicast spell is encountered, it will draw the next X spells from the wand to fire at once. Modifiers affect the next projectile in the sequence. If a wand has 'Shuffle: No', players can create complex 'loops' and high-frequency firing patterns by carefully arranging their spells.
