Adjusting Animation Duration

Telepistons Mod allows you to control how fast or slow pistons extend and retract visually. This doesn't change the actual redstone timing—only the animation speed.

Finding Speed Settings

Open your Telepistons configuration file. Look for animation speed, duration, or timing settings. These are typically expressed as a value representing how many ticks or milliseconds the animation takes to complete.

Making Adjustments

Increase the value to make piston animations slower and more deliberate—useful if you want to clearly see the telescopic or squishy effect. Decrease the value to make animations faster and snappier.

Experiment to find what feels right for your playstyle. Some players prefer slow, satisfying animations, while others want quick, responsive visuals.

Testing Changes

After adjusting, reload your world or restart your game. Place a test piston and power it to see how the new speed feels. You can tweak the value multiple times until you're satisfied with the result.
