View Copper Tool Oxidation Stages
Understanding Copper Tool Durability Display
Copper tools in Tazko's Fresh Textures feature a unique visual system: as your copper tool loses durability, its texture changes to show different oxidation stages. This creates a dynamic visual representation of wear and tear.
How Oxidation Works
When you craft or find copper tools, they begin with a bright, polished copper appearance. As you use the tool and its durability decreases, the texture gradually shifts through oxidation stages—showing weathering and patina buildup that mirrors real copper oxidation.
Viewing the Effect
1. Craft or obtain a copper tool (pickaxe, axe, shovel, or sword)
2. Use the tool repeatedly to damage its durability
3. Watch the texture change as the durability bar depletes
4. The visual progression continues until the tool breaks
This feature is supported on game versions that include copper tools. The oxidation stages are purely visual and don't affect tool performance—only the durability meter determines when a tool breaks. This adds immersion and visual feedback to tool usage.
