Getting Started with Tanuki Decor

Crafting and Placing Furniture

Tanuki Decor adds over 170 blocks to build a cozy home. The centerpiece is the DIY Workbench, where you craft furniture from cobblestone, logs, clay balls, and iron ingots. If you prefer a vanilla-only experience, the optional DIY recipes can be turned off in the config.

The catalog is broad and themed. You get 20+ seats, 10+ beds so you no longer share a villager's snooze, and storage pieces like armoires that work as decor. Over 30 clocks chime the hour, and a dozen light sources, from fireplaces to neon signs, push back the shadows. The real charm is in the details: vases, tables, streamers, and 60+ more blocks let you shape every corner.

Start small. Craft the DIY Workbench, then branch into seating and lighting before tackling larger storage and decorative sets. Because recipes use common materials, you can experiment freely without long gathering trips.
