Identify Speakers in Large Groups or Crowded Areas
Understand the Visual Indicator
When a player speaks into their microphone, their character's head grows noticeably larger on your screen. This makes it easy to spot the active speaker even when surrounded by many players or in chaotic situations like combat or building sessions.
Use Head Size to Track Conversation Flow
Watch the heads of nearby players—whoever's head is enlarged is currently talking. This is especially useful when:
- Multiple players are standing close together
- You're in a crowded area with many NPCs or mobs nearby
- Players are spread across different elevations (on hills, in caves, or flying)
- You need to coordinate quickly without reading chat
Combine with Voice Chat Audio
Pair the visual head-scaling effect with the audio from your voice chat mod. You'll hear someone speaking and immediately see their enlarged head, creating a clear connection between voice and player. If the head scaling feels too subtle or too extreme for your situation, adjust the scale settings to match your group's size and playstyle.
