How TalkBubbles Works

TalkBubbles is a small, client-side style mod that makes nearby chat more visible. When you type a message in chat, a bubble appears above your character's head instead of (or in addition to) the usual chat line. The same happens for your friends: if another player is close enough to you and sends a chat message, a bubble pops up above their head too.

The key idea is proximity. Bubbles are meant for players who are actually near each other, so the mod is useful for group adventures, building together, or any situation where you want to read what someone said without watching the chat box. Messages from players far away behave like normal chat.

There is nothing to configure to get started. Install the mod, join a world with friends, and start talking. Because the mod only changes how chat is displayed, it does not add items, blocks, or commands, and it will not affect gameplay or world saves.
