Quickly Switch Between Tools Using World Blocks

Workflow

Use Take It Out Mod to rapidly swap tools by clicking the scroll wheel on blocks that match your stored tools. This is faster than manually opening your inventory or cycling through hotbar slots.

Steps

1. Store duplicate tools (pickaxes, axes, shovels, etc.) in shulker boxes placed in your inventory.

2. While mining or building, when you need to switch tools, look at a block in the world that matches the tool you want.

3. Click the scroll wheel on that block.

4. Your current tool swaps with the matching tool from your shulker box.

5. Continue working with the new tool.

Example Scenario

You're mining and your pickaxe breaks. You have a shulker box in your inventory containing a new pickaxe. Look at any stone block nearby, scroll wheel click it, and your broken pickaxe swaps out for the fresh one from the shulker box.

Notes

  • This only works if you have the item stored in a shulker box in your inventory.
  • Hotbar items are prioritized—if the tool is already in your hotbar, the mod selects that slot instead.
