Creating a Deku Scrub Display or Farm

Summoning Persistent Deku Scrubs

Use the command /function sacred_grove:summon_deku_scrub_persistent to spawn a Deku Scrub that never despawns. This is essential for building displays or farming operations, as naturally spawned scrubs may disappear.

Building a Display

Choose a location: Select a visible area in your base or a dedicated showcase room. The Deku Scrub's 3D model is detailed and looks impressive when properly lit.

Add lighting: Use the mod's green-tinted light sources to match the Lost Woods aesthetic, or use standard torches for contrast.

Surround with theming: Place lily pads, dark wood blocks, and fog-appropriate decorations around the scrub to recreate the forest atmosphere.

Setting Up a Farm

Create an arena: Build an enclosed space with solid ground and adequate lighting to prevent other mob spawns.

Position the scrub: Summon your persistent scrub in the center, elevated on a platform for easy access.

Establish attack routes: Leave space to circle the scrub safely while attacking from multiple angles.

Collect drops: Defeated scrubs drop jungle leaves. Repeat the process as needed for your building projects.
