Locating Deku Scrubs

Deku Scrubs spawn naturally throughout the Lost Woods biome and vanilla swamps. They appear as wooden, stationary figures perched on lily pads or solid ground. They won't wander away from their spawn location, making them predictable targets.

Defeating Scrubs for Drops

Engage carefully: Deku Scrubs are initially peaceful and won't attack unless you strike them first. Once hit, they will retaliate, so prepare for combat.

Attack and retreat: Use a sword or ranged weapon to damage them. Their stationary nature means you can circle around and attack from behind safely.

Collect the drops: Each defeated Deku Scrub drops jungle leaves. Gather these for building, decoration, or crafting purposes.

Farming Strategy

If you need multiple jungle leaves, consider creating a persistent Deku Scrub using /function sacred_grove:summon_deku_scrub_persistent. This spawns a Deku Scrub that never despawns, allowing you to farm the same location repeatedly. Set up a safe arena away from toxic water and other hazards for efficient harvesting.
