Set Up and Use the Gun Unload Keybind

Bind the Unload Key

Open your game's Controls menu and scroll to the TaCZ category. Look for the keybind labeled "Unload Gun" or similar. Click on it and press your desired key (commonly a letter like U or a side mouse button).

Unload Your Weapon

Equip any loaded firearm and press your bound unload key. The gun will eject its current magazine or ammunition without firing. This is useful for:

• Switching ammunition types quickly
• Clearing a weapon before storing it
• Managing inventory during intense combat

Verify the Mechanic

After unloading, check your inventory—ammunition should appear as a separate item or be added back to your inventory depending on your mod configuration. You can then reload with different ammo or a fresh magazine.

If the keybind doesn't work, ensure you've saved the controls menu and that no other mod is using the same key. You can rebind it at any time.
