Customize Bullet Impact Sounds and Particles

Understand Data Pack Customization

TaCZ Tweaks allows you to customize bullet impact effects through data packs. This includes sounds (like glass shattering or bullet whizzes) and visual particles when bullets hit surfaces.

Access Sound and Particle Settings

Open the TaCZ Tweaks configuration menu and navigate to the sounds and effects section. Here you can:

  • Enable or disable specific impact sounds
  • Toggle particle effects for bullet hits
  • Adjust sound volume for impacts

Create or Modify Data Packs

For advanced customization, create a data pack in your world's datapacks folder. Define custom sounds and particles for different surface types (wood, stone, glass, etc.). TaCZ Tweaks will recognize these custom definitions and apply them when bullets strike those materials.

Test Your Changes

Fire bullets at various blocks and surfaces to hear and see your customized effects. Reload the data pack or restart your world if changes don't appear immediately. You can adjust settings repeatedly until the audio-visual feedback matches your preference.
