How Hitbox Fixes Work

This mod corrects how damage registers on players in different states. Previously, shots that appeared to hit might not register properly. The hitbox fixes ensure that your aim translates directly to damage, whether you're shooting a standing, crouching, or downed player.

Aiming for Consistent Hits

When using scoped weapons like sniper rifles, aim at the center of your target's body or head. The improved hitbox system means your crosshair placement matters more—shots that look accurate will actually connect. Test your aim on neutral mobs first to understand weapon behavior.

Combat Implications

Because hits now register accurately, positioning and cover become more critical. Downed players are easier targets since they cannot move or return fire. In team combat, focus fire on enemies to down them quickly, then finish or revive based on your team's situation. Headshots deal significant damage when your aim is precise.
