Reduce Screen Shake and Suppression Effects During Combat

Understanding Suppression

When bullets pass near your character, the Tacz Presence Mod creates screen shake, blur, and darkened edges to simulate incoming fire pressure. This suppression effect intensifies the closer shots land to you.

Adjusting Visual Intensity

Open your mod configuration settings. Look for suppression or screen effect options. You can reduce the blur strength, shake intensity, or edge darkening separately. Lower these values if the effects feel overwhelming during intense firefights.

Managing Particle Splash Effects

Dirt, sand, and concrete particles spray onto your screen when bullets hit nearby blocks. If this obscures your vision too much, find the particle splash or debris effect setting and decrease its opacity or frequency.

Disabling Specific Effects

If certain effects bother you more than others—such as the blood overlay or screen edge darkening while aiming—you can often toggle individual features on or off. This lets you keep the tactical advantages of damage indicators and ammo alerts while removing distracting visuals.

Testing Your Changes

After adjusting settings, enter a combat scenario to see how the changes feel. You may need to fine-tune values multiple times to find your ideal balance between immersion and visibility.
