How to Aim Down Sights and Use Iron Sights Effectively

Entering Aiming Mode

Hold right-click (or your configured aim button) to raise your firearm and look through the iron sights. Your view will zoom slightly and the weapon model will shift to aiming position. This is essential for accurate shots at distance.

Compensating for Recoil

When firing while aiming, the weapon will kick upward and sideways depending on the firearm. Burst fire or controlled single shots reduce recoil spread compared to full auto. Practice short bursts to keep your sights on target.

Tactical Positioning

Use cover and elevation to your advantage. Aim from behind walls or high ground to limit enemy return fire. The iron sights give you a clearer sight picture than hip-firing, making headshots on mobs and players much more reliable. Take your time between shots rather than spraying ammunition.
