Maximize Ammo Drops from Mobs

Choose the Right Weapon

Different guns in TaCZ drop their corresponding ammunition types. Equip the gun you want ammo for before engaging mobs—the mod prioritizes drops that match your held weapon. This ensures you're farming the specific rounds you need rather than wasting time on incompatible ammo.

Farm in High-Density Areas

Defeat mobs in locations where they spawn frequently, such as dark caves, mob grinders, or spawning platforms. More mobs killed means more ammunition collected. Each defeated mob has a chance to drop bullets, so volume matters.

Adjust Drop Rates in Config

Open your game folder and locate the TaCZ Bullets Back config file. You can modify drop rate percentages to increase or decrease how often mobs yield ammunition. If you want faster ammo collection, raise the drop chance values. Lower them if drops feel overwhelming.

Collect Secondary Ammo Types

While your held weapon receives priority drops, the mod occasionally spawns ammunition for other gun types. Don't ignore these—gather them to stock up on backup weapons for different combat situations.
