Survive an Encounter with Multiple Armed Pillagers

Engage Strategically

When facing a squad of armed Pillagers, never engage in open terrain. Their firearms have superior range compared to your melee weapons, and multiple shooters create crossfire situations. Always move between cover—trees, rocks, buildings—to break their line of sight.

Armed Pillagers shoot on sight, so use stealth when possible. Crouch-walk to avoid triggering aggression from distant patrols. If detected, immediately retreat to pre-built defensive positions rather than standing your ground in the open.

Combat Tactics

Equip your own TACZ firearm to match their range advantage. Peek from behind cover, fire, then retreat before they can return accurate shots. The mod's balanced accuracy means their shots won't track perfectly, giving you windows to attack.

Focus fire on one Pillager at a time rather than spreading damage across the group. Eliminate isolated targets first, then deal with clustered enemies. Use terrain elevation to your advantage—shooting downward from hills or rooftops makes you harder to hit while giving you clear shots.

If overwhelmed, sprint toward your prepared bunker or village fortifications. Never let them pin you in open ground.
