How to Set Up a Custom Tablist Header and Footer in TAB

Locating the Header/Footer Section

Open the plugin's main configuration file and find the section that controls the tablist header and footer. This is usually a dedicated block of text fields where you can type the lines you want every player to see at the top and bottom of their tab list. Each line is a separate entry, so add or remove entries to control how many rows appear.

Adding Placeholders and Colors

Inside the header and footer text you can insert placeholders that get replaced with live values, such as the player's name, the server name, or the online player count. Wrap color codes or use the plugin's supported color format to style the text. If you want a multi-line header, add another entry rather than cramming everything into one line.

Applying and Testing

Save the file and run the plugin's reload command so changes take effect without restarting the server. Join the game and look at your tab list. If nothing changed, check that your header and footer entries are indented correctly and that you did not leave a placeholder name misspelled. Adjust spacing and line order until the layout looks right, then reload again to confirm the final result.
