Check a Player's Ping During Gameplay

Access the Tab List

Press the Tab key while playing on a server. This opens the player list overlay, which shows all currently connected players.

Read Ping Values

Each player name in the list will display a ping value next to it. This number represents their connection latency in milliseconds (ms). Lower numbers indicate a better, more responsive connection, while higher numbers mean more delay.

Use This Information Tactically

Players with high ping will experience a delay between their actions on their screen and what you see on yours. This can be useful in PvP situations—a player with 200+ ms ping may not react as quickly to attacks. Conversely, if you have high ping, be aware that your opponent may see your movements before you do on your screen.

Check ping regularly during combat or competitive gameplay to understand the network conditions you're working with. This helps you anticipate how other players might behave and adjust your strategy accordingly.
