Optimize Settings for Low-End Hardware
Reducing Shader Load
Access Shader Options and disable any advanced features you don't need: ambient occlusion, volumetric lighting, or shadow filtering. TAA Voxy Port is lightweight by design, but these extras can impact older systems.
Adjusting Render Distance
Lower your render distance in Video Settings to reduce the area the shader must process each frame. Start at 8-12 chunks and increase gradually until you notice frame rate drops. This is often more effective than disabling shader features.
Memory and Chunk Loading
Reduce allocated RAM if your launcher allows it, and avoid loading massive terrain areas at once. The TAA effect works best when your system isn't struggling with chunk generation.
Testing Performance
Move your camera quickly and look at distant horizons—these actions stress TAA most. If you see frame rate dips below your target (typically 30+ FPS for playable experience), disable TAA temporarily and re-enable other optimizations one at a time to find the right balance for your hardware.
