Crafting and Upgrading Your First Set

Start by opening a crafting table to build base armor sets using common blocks like glass, coal, or shulker shells. Once you have a basic set, you can upgrade individual pieces using a smithing table—place your vanilla armor into the smithing table along with special materials to create enhanced versions.

To unlock an armor set's full potential, wear all pieces of the same type together. Many suits have hidden abilities triggered by sneaking or crouching. For example, the Coal armor places torches at your feet when you sneak, while the Music armor plays music discs when you crouch.

Experiment with different sets to find abilities that match your playstyle, whether you need protection, mobility, or utility for your current adventure.
