How to Deal Damage with Lightning Attacks

Lightning Strike Mechanics

Thor's hammer is the primary source of lightning damage in this mod. Each successful throw generates a lightning bolt that damages entities and blocks in the impact area.

Attacking Hostile Mobs

1. Locate a hostile mob (zombie, creeper, skeleton, etc.)

2. Hold Thor's hammer and face your target

3. Shift + Right-click to throw the hammer

4. The hammer strikes with lightning, dealing damage to the mob

5. The lightning may chain to nearby enemies

6. The hammer returns to your inventory automatically

Attacking Players and Structures

The same technique works against other players in PvP scenarios and against blocks. Lightning strikes can destroy certain materials or trigger mechanisms. Experiment with throwing at different block types to discover environmental interactions.

Maximizing Damage Output

Group enemies together before throwing to hit multiple targets with one lightning strike. Throw from elevated positions for better accuracy. The lightning effect has an area of effect, so you don't need pixel-perfect aim. Monitor the hammer's durability—damaged hammers deal reduced lightning damage. Repair frequently to maintain full combat effectiveness.
