Set Up Auto-Sorting for Your First Chest

Open and Configure Your Chest

Right-click any vanilla chest, barrel, or ender chest to open the Swift Vault Flow interface. You'll see the container grid and a filter panel on the side.

Add Items to Your Filter

Drag items directly from your inventory into the filter list, or use the Tag Import tool to add entire categories at once (like all wood types or stone variants). The order you add items sets their priority—items higher in the list get sorted first.

Assign Colors to Zones

Use the Area Mode or Trace Mode painting tools to color-code slot sections. Click the eyedropper to copy colors between zones for consistency. Each color group should match the items you've filtered for that section.

Test Your Setup

Fill your inventory with mixed items matching your filters. Press your deposit keybind (default varies by installation) or click the deposit button in the interface. Items should flow into their assigned colored slots automatically.

Save Your Layout

If you're using a shulker box, your color scheme and filter rules save directly to that box. For regular chests, take note of your setup so you can recreate it if needed.
