Locating the Crosshair File

The Sweet Sweet HUD Resource Pack includes a heart-shaped crosshair as part of its cute aesthetic. This file is stored in assets/minecraft/textures/gui/ under the crosshair texture name.

Replacing the Crosshair

1. Extract the resource pack completely

2. Navigate to the crosshair texture file in the gui folder

3. Open it in an image editor and create your new crosshair design

4. Keep the image size consistent with the original (typically 15x15 pixels)

5. Save it as PNG with the same filename

6. Repackage and reload the resource pack

Design Tips

Maintain the pastel color scheme to keep the pack cohesive—consider soft pinks, purples, or pastels that match the health and hunger bars. Simple geometric shapes or small decorative elements work best at the small crosshair size. Test your new crosshair in-game by looking at blocks and mobs to ensure it's visible and doesn't obstruct your view.
