Adjust the Hotbar Background Opacity

Understanding the Hotbar Styling

The Sweet Sweet HUD hotbar features a paper-textured background with purple crystal decorations. The opacity (transparency level) of this background can be adjusted to suit your preference.

Modifying Opacity

1. Extract the resource pack and navigate to assets/minecraft/textures/gui/

2. Find the hotbar background texture file

3. Open it in an image editor with transparency support

4. Adjust the alpha channel (opacity slider) to make the background more or less transparent

5. Lower opacity values make it more see-through; higher values make it more opaque

6. Save as PNG and repackage the resource pack

Balancing Visibility

If you reduce opacity too much, the purple crystal details may become hard to see. If you increase it, the background may obscure your view of the world behind it. Test different levels in-game to find the sweet spot that maintains both the aesthetic appeal and your visibility of the game world.
