Troubleshoot Swap Helper Not Working

Check Your Setup

If the mod isn't swapping to your mace:

1. Verify your mace location — it must be in hotbar slots 1 through 9 (not in your inventory)

2. Confirm your main hand weapon — you must be holding a sword or axe in your main hand

3. Check the keybind — open Controls and ensure Swap Helper has a key assigned to it

4. Toggle the mod on — press your keybind and look for on-screen confirmation text like "MaceSwap ON"

Verify the Mod is Active

1. Look for on-screen text indicators when you press your keybind

2. You should see "MaceSwap ON" or similar confirmation

3. If you see "MaceSwap Reverse ON," the mod is in reverse mode — toggle it again to return to normal

4. Without this text, the mod may not be enabled

Reset and Retry

1. Toggle the mod off completely

2. Rearrange your hotbar — move your mace to slot 1 or 2 for easier detection

3. Switch to a different main hand weapon if you're using something other than a sword or axe

4. Toggle back on and attempt an attack

If issues persist, verify the mod is properly installed in your mods folder.
