How to Tell Whether a Chest Texture Is From Suren's Pack or the Base Mod
Comparing Against the Default Look
The base Sophisticated Storage mod already gives its chests a distinct look. Suren's pack refines that look with cleaner lines, improved shading, and a more polished finish. To tell them apart, place two chests, or toggle the pack on and off, and compare the edges, highlights, and shadowing. The pack's version should read as smoother and more consistent with vanilla and modded blocks.
Checking Which Pack Is Active
If you are unsure whether the pack is even loaded, open Options, then Resource Packs, and confirm Suren's pack sits in the right-hand column. A pack in the left column is available but not applied. Also check that no other pack above it overrides the same textures, since that would hide its effect.
Confirming It Is the Right Block
Only Sophisticated Storage chests are retextured. Vanilla chests, barrels, and chests from other mods keep their own textures. If a block looks unchanged, first confirm it is actually a Sophisticated Storage chest and not a similar-looking block from another mod. Once you have verified the block type and the pack order, the visual difference should be clear when you compare it side by side with the default textures.
