Making a Config Value Apply to All Players on a Server

Understanding syncing

SuperMartijn642's Config Lib separates values into client-side and server-side configs. Server-side values are the ones that must match for everyone, because the server is the authority. If you edit a server-side value only in your own client file, other players will not see the same behavior, and the server may override you on join.

Editing on the server

On a dedicated server, edit the config file inside the server's own config folder, not your singleplayer instance. Change the value there and restart or reload the server. The library then syncs those server values out to every connecting client automatically, so players do not need to touch their own files.

What players can and cannot change

Client-only values (things like visual toggles or local preferences) stay under each player's control and are not forced by the server. If a setting you expected to be global is not syncing, it is probably defined as client-side by the mod author. In that case each player must set it themselves; there is no server-side override for it.
