Cut Deepslate Variants with the Stonecutter
Getting Started
The stonecutter now supports deepslate blocks and their variants, expanding your building options significantly. This works the same way as cutting regular stone.
How to Cut Deepslate
1. Place a Stonecutter block in your world
2. Open the stonecutter interface by right-clicking it
3. Place a deepslate block (or deepslate variant like deepslate bricks, deepslate tiles, or polished deepslate) into the input slot
4. The stonecutter will display all available output variants for that block
5. Click the variant you want to create
6. Collect your cut blocks from the output slot
Tips
- You can cut between different deepslate variants—for example, convert deepslate bricks into deepslate tiles
- This is more efficient than crafting, as stonecutting produces output without requiring multiple blocks
- All deepslate variants are cuttable, giving you flexibility in your building designs without needing multiple crafting recipes
